CRYSTAL BOWERSOX IS GETTING MARRIED!

Do i hear wedding bells ringing?...well of course, herald of a wedding y'all!.Crystal Bowersox of American Idol is planning a wedding. The young performer has been on tour with the American Idol finalists but has found herself a new love in her spare time. The lucky man is Brian Walker and they are saying 'I do' next month.

While this may appear to be a tadbit rushed, you have to remember her previous boyfriend left her the night before the finals which made it difficult for Bowersox to perform. Being that she is coming off a tour, doesn't have a very strong track record and has a child, it is understandable she needs to find someone for support.
The detais of the Bowersox wedding haven't been released. Nor has the date. Many American Idol fans will be excited to hear of the news for the runner up contestants and definitely will want to know more when the time gets closer.

LADY GAGA SPEAKS ON 'DON'T ASK DON'T TELL'

I most say...I commend lady Gaga for her bold personality, both on stage and otherwise. Its not surprising the fact that she's the most influential female artiste yet!
Earlier this afternoon, Lady Gaga held a rally to speak on the injustice of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” The event took place in Portland, Maine where Lady Gaga read her speech, “The Prime Rib of America.”

                                                     LADY GAGA'S SPEECH
Good afternoon. can you all hear me?I wrote this speech, this address, myself, I’ve spent 48 hours trying to find the perfect thing to say. My address to you today is called “The Prime Rib of America.”

I do, solemnly swear, or affirm, that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies foreign and domestic, and I will bear true faith and allegiance to do the same, and I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the uniform code of military justice, so help me God.
Unless, there’s a gay soldier in my unit, sir.

That is the oath taken every day by service members of the Armed Forces when they enlist to serve their country. Equality is the prime rib of America, but because I’m gay, I don’t get to enjoy the greatest cut of meat my country has to offer. There are amazing heroes here today, whose stories are more powerful that any story I could tell, any fight I’ve ever fought, and any song that I could tell. I’m here because they inspire me. I’m here because I believe in them. I’m here because “don’t ask, don’t tell” is wrong. … It’s unjust, and fundamentally, it is against all that we stand for as Americans.

The Pentagon and senators such as John McCain have cited that the military is a unique institution, they have cited that homosexuals serving openly cause disruption to unit cohesion and morale. So what this means is, that they’re saying that straight soldiers feel uncomfortable around gay soldiers, and sometimes it causes tension, hostility and possible performance inadequacies for straight soldiers who are homophobic. And even though some studies have been done to show an overwhelming and remarkable lack of disruption to units with gay soldiers, I will, for a moment, entertain this debate. As I am less concerned with refuting the fact that, in the workplace, in any workplace, there are tensions, there is even more of a possibility to have tension when you’re fighting for your life. But I’m more concerned that John McCain and other Republican senators are using homophobia as a defense in their argument. As the nexus of this law, openly gay soldiers affect unit cohesion, like it’s OK to discriminate or discharge gay soldiers because we are homophobic, we are uncomfortable, and we do not agree with homosexuality, and I can’t focus on the field of duty when I am fighting. “We have a problem with you.” Wasn’t that the defense of Matthew Shepard’s murderers? When they left him to die on a fence in Laramie, they told the judge, ‘Oh, Matthew’s gay, and it made us uncomfortable, so we killed him.’ ‘Oh, he’s gay, it makes me uncomfortable, send him home.’ As a side note, both Matthew Shepard’s killers have life sentences in prison, and laws have since been passed that homophobia cannot be used as defense anymore in hate crimes in our judicial system.

Doesn’t it seem to be that “don’t ask, don’t tell” is backwards? Doesn’t it seem to be that, based on the Constitution of the United States, that we’re penalizing the wrong soldier? Doesn’t it seem to you that we should send home the prejudiced, the straight soldier who hates the gay soldier, the straight soldier whose performance in the military is affected because he is homophobic, the straight soldier who has prejudice in his heart, in the space where the military asks him to hold our core American values, he instead holds and harbors hate, and he gets to stay and fight for our country? He gets the honor, but we gay soldiers, who harbor no hatred, no prejudice, no phobia, we’re sent home? I am here today because I would like to propose a new law; a law that sends home the soldier that has the problem. Our new law is called “if you don’t like it, go home.” A law that discharges the soldier with the issue, the law that discharges the soldier with the real problem, the homophobic soldier that has the real negative effect on unit cohesion. A law that sends home the homophobe, a law that sends home the prejudiced. A law that doesn’t prosecute the gay soldier who fights for equality with no problem, but prosecutes the straight soldier who fights against it. Or perhaps that was a bit spun. … To be fair, it sends home the straight soldier who fights for some freedoms, for some equalities, but not for the equality of the gay. He is the one — or she is the one — under this new proposition who will be discharged for disrupting the military. If you are not committed to perform with excellence as a United States soldier because you don’t believe in full equality, go home. If you are not honorable enough to fight without prejudice, go home. If you are not capable of keeping your oath to the Armed Forces to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic, and I will bear true faith and allegiance to do the same, unless there’s a gay soldier in my unit, then go home.
Or, moreover, if you serve this country, is it acceptable to be a cafeteria American soldier? Can you choose some things from the Constitution to put on your plate, but not others? A buffet, perhaps. I’m not talking about citizens — we have a right to grieve, to protest, we have a right to this rally — but I’m talking about soldiers. Should the military be allowed to treat Constitutional rights like a cafeteria? In the military, is it acceptable to be a cafeteria American? What I mean to say is, should soldiers and the government be able to pick and choose what we are fighting for in the Constitution or who we are fighting for? I wasn’t aware of this ambiguity in our Constitution. I thought the Constitution was ultimate. I thought equality was non-negotiable. And, let’s say, if the government can pick and choose who they’re fighting for, as exemplified in laws like “don’t ask, don’t tell,” shouldn’t we as Americans be made aware of this imbalance? Shouldn’t it be made clear to the citizens of this country, before we go to war, shouldn’t I be made aware ahead of time that some of us are just not included in that fight? “We’re going to war for you and you and you and you, but not you, because you’re gay.” You can risk your life for this country, but in the end, you’re not fighting for yourself; you’re fighting for straight people. … You are not included. You are not included when we say “equal.” You are not even fully included when we say “freedom.”

I’m here today in this park, in Maine, to say that, if the Senate and the president are not going to repeal this “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, perhaps they should be more clear with us about who the military is fighting for, who our tax dollars are supporting and, ultimately, how much does the prime rib cost? Because I thought this was an “all you can eat” buffet. This equality stuff, I thought equality meant everyone. But apparently, for certain value meals, for certain civil rights, I have to pay extra, because I’m gay. I’m allowed to stand in a line next to other men and women, I’m allowed to get shot at and shoot a gun to protect myself and my nation, but when it’s time to order my meal, when it’s time to benefit from the freedoms of the Constitution that I protect and fight for, I have to pay extra. I shouldn’t have to pay extra. I should have the ability, the opportunity, the right to enjoy the same rights — the same piece of meat — that my fellow soldiers, fellow straight soldiers, already have included in their Meal of Rights. It’s prime rib, it’s the same size, it’s the same grade, the same cost, at wholesale cost, and it’s in the Constitution.

My name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. I am an American citizen, to the senate, to Americans, to Senator Olympia Snowe, Senator Susan Collins — both from Maine — and Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts. Equality is the prime rib of America. Equality is the prime rib of what we stand for as a nation. And I don’t get to enjoy the greatest cut of meat that my country has to offer. Are you listening? Shouldn’t everyone deserve the right to wear the same meat dress that I did? Repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell” or go home. Go home. Thank you

ADAM LAMBERT ACCUSED OF BATTERY!

Aside the public controversy on Adam Lambert's sex orientation, the former American Idol contestant has been far from the public eye,but as it is in the entertainment world...evading the public can not happen for too long.

Adam Lambert is accused of simple battery on a photographer on Miami Beach.

A police report says 38-year-old Victor Eras was taking pictures of the singer Thursday when Lambert started running toward him ''in an aggressive manner.''

Eras claims Lambert grabbed his back pack and wrestled him to the ground. The photographer did not suffer any injuries. He declined to comment to The Associated Press on Friday.

No arrests were made. A police spokesman says there will not be an investigation. The state attorney's office will review the report and decide if any charges will be filed. TMZ first reported the alleged attack.

Lambert's publicist did not immediately comment on all that happened.

SHELLEY MALIL FOUND GUILTY!

Hollywood never seizes to run out of bizzare true life drama!.From superstars doing drugs, being arrested for DIU's,cheating and committing suicide to superstars attempting to comit murder!

Shelley Malil, the actor who appeared in the movie “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” was convicted on Thursday of attempted premeditated murder of his former girlfriend.

Jurors in San Diego Country found actor Shelley Malil guilty of assault with a deadly weapon for stabbing his ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe, over 20 times during an argument at her San Marcos home in 2008.

Beebe, 37, hugged her best friend as the judge read the verdict.

“I feel a sense of relief, but I have to be honest there is never a win in a situation like this,” Beebe said. “I was afraid because he was an actor that the people might believe his bad theatrics. I am pleased to see the justice system did its job properly.”

Malil is known for his role as Haziz, Steve Carrell’s co-worker in “The 40-Year-Old-Virgin”, faces 16 years in jail.  Malil faced 21 years before he was acquitted of residential burglary for entering Beebe’s home.
Defense attorney Matthew Roberts told jurors Malil went too far when he picked up the kitchen knife after finding Beebe on her patio with another man, but that Malil never intended to kill Beebe.

Roberts said the former couple had a tumultuous relationship and described Beebe as a drama queen who manipulated men and attempted to make them jealous.

Deputy District Attorney Keith Watanabe said that Malil, 45, brought the knife to her home and did not grab it in the heat of the moment.  Jurors were shown photographs of deep wounds on the victim’s face, neck and torso and told them they did not have to determine a motive.

Watanabe said Beebe was lucky to be alive and accused the defense of trying to taint the image of Beebe so the jury would acquit the actor.

“We had a smart, intelligent jury, and they reached the right verdict,” Watanabe said after the verdict. “There was a mountain of evidence that he was guilty. He certainly won’t be winning an Oscar for his performance in the courtroom. The jury did not believe his story.”

Malil was taken to the San Diego County jail, where he will remain held without bond until his Nov. 18 sentencing.

All the best to Malil!

SHAQUILLE O'NEAL SUED!

NBA star Shaquille O'Neal is at the center of an explosive new lawsuit accusing him of computer hacking, destroying evidence and indicating that he attempted to frame an employee by planting child pornography on his computer, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

Shaq's former employee Shawn Darling filed the suit for intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and civil R.I.C.O. (a racketeering charge) on August 3, in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Here are some of the explosive allegations:
  • Shaq hacked into the voicemails and phone systems of Darling and Vanessa Lopez, a mistress who is currently suing O'Neal. He deleted Lopez's messages and changed her password.
  • O'Neal used his law enforcement contacts, both active and retired, to obtain restricted information about one of his mistresses, Alexis Miller, while he was involved in a legal battle with her.
  • Shaq threw a personal computer holding much of this evidence in the lake behind his home.
  • Shaq conspired with active law enforcement as well as ex-members of law enforcement to frame Darling for a criminal offense and destroy any evidence that Darling might have against O'Neal.
Darling says there is proof in the form of emails, text messages and photos that Shaq had multiple affairs while married and tried to keep that information from going public.
Darling, who has an extensive criminal background, told RadarOnline.com exlusively that his record didn't bother Shaq because "that was why he hired me."
Darling worked for O'Neal from 2007-2009 as his personal IT guy and claims he was originally hired to work on "different O'Neal family projects."

In August of 2008 Shaq was playing for the Phoenix Suns and Darling moved with him to work on O'Neal's house.
At the time, Shaq was having an affair with hip-hop singer Alexis Miller who ended up accusing him of harassment and stalking. Shaq later settled with Miller
The lawsuit alleges, "O'Neal told Darling that Alexis Miller had obtained a restraining order and that O'Neal said could not remember what he sent to Miller by way of text messaging and E-mail."
According to the suit, Shaq asked Darling to retrieve every email and text message that he sent Miller-as well as all of Shaq's phone records-- so that he could be aware of what he was dealing with.
Darling says that after getting all of this information for Shaq, he then performed a "Defense Department type wipe of O'Neal's computer" at the basketball star's request.
According to the lawsuit, "O'Neal, along with his houseboy Joe Caballero, disposed of the computer in the lake behind O'Neal's house and gave Darling cash to buy another replacement
Darling claims Shaq asked him to set up "a system where O'Neal would use Darling's accounts to communicate with others" and gave Darling permission to keep all of his electronic communication so that it would be preserved.

In October, 2009, following the demise of Shaq's marriage to Shaunie O'Neal, Darling discovered he was having an affair with Vanessa Lopez. Darling reached out to Lopez, who told him that she thought O'Neal was trying to break into her voicemail, deleting messages and changing her passwords.
In the lawsuit, Darling says he found proof that Shaq was breaking into Lopez's phone system and told her about it.

Lopez, who is currently suing Shaq for harassment and is being represented by power attorney Gloria Allred, then told O'Neal that Darling was giving her information behind his back, according to the lawsuit.
Vanessa Lopez Distraught Over Alleged Treatment By Shaq
At that point, Darling claims Shaq sent him threatening messages, tried to break into his voicemail and enlisted the help of an active Arizona detective to master a computer program that would allegedly allow him to frame Darling for possession of child pornography so that Shaq could confiscate the computer holding evidence of his affair with Lopez.
In emails quoted as evidence in the lawsuit, O'Neal's agent wrote on December 15, 2009, "got it he will be stopped n pay for this."

O'Neal wrote back "ok but in the meantime o boy needs to be put in jail, we have way too many law enforcement connections to let a criminal try to get over on mine o mine, we don't need any distractions as we deal with Harvard guy, shoe line guy, restaurant guy, real estate guy and everything we are planning to do after basketball life..."

MICHAEL DOUGLAS BATTLING CANCER

Actor Michael Douglas, who was diagnosed with throat cancer three weeks ago, says the cancer is at Stage IV. And from all indications, he appears to have a tough battle ahead of him.
“You don’t want to be at Stage IV,” Douglas told David Letterman during an appearance Tuesday on the Late Show. “You’d rather be down at Stage 1.”
But the actor said he’s optimistic

Douglas, 65, told Letterman he’d just finished his first week of radiation and chemotherapy, and that his treatment would last eight weeks. When Letterman told Douglas that he looked and sounded good, the actor said that as the treatment progressed, he’d be less able to speak and swallow. Already, he said, he’d been “knocked down hard” by the first week of treatment.
The diagnosis came, Douglas said, after he and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, spent a “wonderful summer” in Spain with their two children: Dylan, 10; and Carys, 7.  Although he’d been to a “litany of doctors” before the vacation because of a persistent sore throat, Douglas said, none found anything wrong until after the family returned to the U.S.  (Smoking is a risk factor for throat cancer; until two years ago, Douglas was a smoker.)

The actor’s latest movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, is set to open later this month. But Douglas told Letterman he wouldn’t be able to promote the movie abroad.
Asked about his statistical chances of beating the illness,  Douglas said, “The percentages are very good ... right now, it looks like it should be 80 percent.”

MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARD(VMA) 2010

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards took place and was aired live on September 12 from the Nokia Theater, in Los Angeles, California. Electronic artist Deadmau5 was the "in house artist" and soundtracked the event. Lady Gaga broke two records with this year's nominations: She became the first female solo artist with two nominations in the Video of the Year category and the artist with the most nominations in a single year receiving 13 (18 including Beyoncé's "Video Phone (Extended Remix)" nominations)

Past broadcasts have been held in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas. The 2009 Awards were held on September 13 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Lady Gaga appeared onstage at the 2010 VMAs with Cher, a singer who knows a thing or two about ridiculous outfits. Gaga wore a dress that appeared to be made of meat. While accepting her VMA award for "Bad Romance," she quipped, "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse,"

According to the gagadaily, the Lady Gaga dress was designed by Franc Fernandez, although i guessed that it was made by Dr Atkins
This is the second low-carb outfit the pop diva has worn. Lady Gaga recently appeared on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan wearing a meat suit.

"I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse," Lady Gaga said as she took the stage to accept her MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year for "Bad Romance."

Luckily, Cher accepted the meat purse and was gracious about being completely upstaged.

Gaga became very emotional during her speech, admitting that she was worried about letting her fans down. We're pretty sure that the Little Monsters will never be disappointed in their... Queen Monster.

Gaga, wearing a dress made entirely of meat - i hope it wasn't real, because that's just disgusting - including a nice slab on top of her head.

Between this and her Vogue Hommes Japan cover, we're beginning to think she's trying to make a statement of some kind.

Fulfilling a promise to her fans, Gaga announced the name of her next album while on stage: it's going to be called "Born This Way."

She then broke into what i can only assume is the title track. "I am beautiful in my way / because God makes no mistakes / I'm on the right track / baby I was born this way," she sang.
